Vincent Jardin,
Chief Technical Officer
As Chief Technical Officer, Vincent Jardin guides the company's
technology leadership & vision and manages the company's product
and development roadmap. In conjunction with the development of
marketing partnerships and strategic industry alliances, he advices
and evaluates the technology and product synergy with semiconductor
manufacturers, operating systems and network processors developers.
He also provides support to 6WIND's Customer Services & Support
team on pre and post-sales operations in Asia, Europe and the US.
Vincent previously led the product management
team, responsible for the formulation of the company's customer-oriented
software product differentiation and development roadmap. He also
managed the company's innovation team, leading all technical and
architecture choices to create the company's unique technological
edge and working on advanced networking technologies. He joined
6WIND as a specialist in the development and definition of routing
and stack technologies. Vincent owns 3 of 6WIND patents in networking
software design and networking protocols. As co-founder of the Open
Source Quagga Community, he was instrumental in the evolution of
this well known Open Source Routing protocol suite and still contributes
actively to improving it with a direct access to the source code
repository (CVS).
Vincent graduated from ENST Paris (French Engineering
University for Telecommunications) where he received his Master
of Science degree in Telecommunications.
