6WIND and Beijing Jariton Tech. Co. Ltd sign reseller agreement in China

6WIND, leader in embedded networking software, and Beijing Jariton Tech. Co. Ltd today announced an agreement to resell 6WINDGate™ software suites to provide customers in China with a complete networking solution for the new generation of telecom and security equipment.

New applications such as 3G / 4G network infrastructure, IMS, UTM are requiring more and more networking performance to manage fast-growing number of subscribers, higher bandwidth, and deep packet inspection for service differentiation and secure communications while significantly reducing deployment and operation costs.

6WINDGate™ software suite has been designed to provide a ready-to-use, scalable, modular & portable networking software solution for most advanced hardware architecture including Multi-Core processors. 6WINDGate™ complete & integrated solution is built upon three layers: Fast Path modules, Optimised Linux stack and Control Plane modules. Thanks to standard API between these layers, 6WINDGate™ modular offering perfectly matches customer requirements for new product development and/or upgrade of an existing one with MCNP technology. 6WINDGate™ scalable architecture provides a range of performance between several Gbps (6WINDGate™ ADS), a solution optimising Linux for multi-processing environment, up to multi tens of Gbps (6WINDGate™ SDS) taking advantage from all Multi-Core improvements such as light executive efficiency, built-in crypto-processors, QoS dedicated hardware. More, 6WINDGate™ unique XML-based management system greatly eases the integration of third-party & customer specific software.
