6WIND EMPOWERS KONKA’S NEXT GENERATION IP-BASED CE PRODUCTS WITH 6WINDGATE™ DUAL-IP NETWORKING SOFTWARE PLATFORM

Paris, France and Beijing, China, February 28, 2007 – 6WIND (www.6wind.com), leader in advanced embedded networking software, announced today that Konka Group (www.konka.com.cn), a leading television and mobile phone manufacturer in China, has selected the 6WINDGate™ dual-IP networking software solution to empower its next-generation IP-based CE products for the rapidly growing IP-based consumer electronics market in China such as IPTV. The 6WINDGate™ solution was chosen for its sophisticated system architecture and full feature set of IP networking. This solution will allow Konka to save development cost and reduces time to market.

Konka is leading development in next generation of Internet application products such as household multimedia gateway, high definition and multifunctional network terminals. Konka Group has combined advanced Internet technologies with modern household electric appliance technologies, which will further quicken the commercial operation of the next generation of Internet.
