6WINDGate™ support is expanded on LANBIRD
Network Processor based ATCA board to provide turnkey solutions
for Telecom industry

today, a strategic partnership to provide 6WINDGate™ support
for the LANBIRD LBATCA-NS0216 ATCA board based on a dual Cavium
Octeon architecture. Telecom customers are now able to use this
combined offering to speed up the development of complex ATCA-based
systems for applications such as Access Control Routers & Base
Stations for the new generation of Mobile Broadband Wireless Internet
based on 3G/4G technologies - WiMax, WiBro, IMS, high performance
Security Appliances or Load Balancers.
Telecom customers will benefit from the unrivalled
capabilities of the combined solution. LBATCA-NS0216 ATCA board
provides high level of integration, unequalled performance thanks
to a bi Network Processor optimized architecture and high availability
features for an excellent performance / power consumption ratio.
On top of this powerful hardware solution, 6WINDGate™ provides
a scalable software architecture that makes the best use of Network
Processor technology (multi-core management, crypto libraries, Fast
Path implementation, Linux scalability) while providing a complete
set of network services including routing, IPsec, Layer 2, IP mobility
and QoS functions for muti-10Gbps applications.

Suites
6WINDGate™ software suites are embedded
Internet Protocol (IP) software platforms for networking and security
