 6WIND Appoints UTStarcom Senior Executive to Spearhead Dynamic Asian Expansion
November 28, 2005 - Paris, Beijing, Seoul - 6WIND announced today that the company has appointed former UTStarcom senior executive, Jesse Zhang, to be its Vice President of Asia and Managing Director of China, based out of Beijing. The announcement follows two other releases in the last week on the company’s success with Japan’s KDDI mobile project and a significant partnership agreement signed with Chinese Industrial giant, Tsinghua Tongfang.

Tsinghua Tongfang and 6WIND Partnership to Take China’s Booming ICT Market by Storm
November 22, 2005 - Paris - 6WIND and China’s high-technology industrial giant Tsinghua Tongfang, announced today, that they have entered into a strategic partnership to co-develop and market industrial e-application solutions for China, the world’s fastest growing economy with the largest ICT market potential. The agreement, uniting two world-class market innovators and technology leaders, was signed during a meeting between TsingHua Tongfang executives and 6WIND’s executive board members in Paris, France, on November 17th 2005.

6WIND Contributes to Success of KDDI’s Mobile Broadband Project
November 17, 2005 - Paris - 6WIND announced today the successful integration of its 6WINDGate™ software to enable continuous “always-on” mobile broadband internet trial for KDDI, Japan’s market-dominant 3G operator and second largest communications carrier. The development-ready 6WINDGate™ software incorporates one of a few commercially-available mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) technology, a key requirement of the project to create seamless roaming over any wireless and IP network infrastructure.
