6WIND Launches the Online Multicore Packet Processing Forum

Paris – October 22, 2009
- We think multicore is addressing a myriad of very different applications and we need to have dedicated resources to specifically exchange ideas about networking and telecommunications applications. To facilitate this, 6WIND has launched a dedicated online Multicore Packet Processing Forum to provide the community with the latest information and resources about embedded multicore networking software. The end goal is to help people understand how to benefit from multicore technology faster and more easily.

This Forum provides a document data base (white papers, press releases, company’s Web sites, etc.) and a blog. We will discuss different topics for a large range of readers. Technical topics for advanced and new multicore users include: multicore programming; best architectures for packet processing software; programming tips; performance; network protocol implementation; etc. These and more technical topics will be addressed as well as marketing questions related to the multicore market.

Thanks in advance for visiting this Forum. If you would like to occasionally or periodically contribute to the Forum, you are more than welcomed. Please use the online submission form or e-mail: contact@multicorepacketprocessing.com.
